Mr. Flood is a litigator whose practice focuses on fidelity and surety, construction, fire insurance, and professional liability law.

Mr. Flood was a member of the firm's Management Committee from 1985 to 1988 and is in charge of the firm's professional liability insurance program.

Mr. Flood proudly served in the United States Navy as Lieutenant from 1958 to 1962.

Representative Engagements

  • Has handled more than 3,500 lawsuits and over 5,000 claims against surety bonds for over 40 different surety companies
  • Represented architects, engineers, contractors and attorneys in more than 100 lawsuits in the construction law and professional malpractice areas
  • Represented both plaintiffs and defendants in numerous fire cases, including high-profile cases involving a lodge in Pinetop, Arizona, a church in Phoenix, and a restaurant in Tucson
  • Participated in "longest" trial ever held in Arizona (eight weeks of trial stretching out over two-year period), that related to a telephone company's ceramic tile failure
  • Has handled numerous real estate transactions, including formation and development of a major ranch subdivision
