Mr. Pote’s practice is focused on strategic intellectual property counseling, including invention harvesting, global patent preparation and prosecution, and trademark counseling to multiple Fortune 500 companies. He has been involved in infringement, validity, enforceability studies, IP due diligence and ex parte, and inter-partes patent reexaminations. Representative technologies include software and electronic systems, deep learning systems, secure data communications, cloud computing, cryptography, and many others. Mr. Pote is a USPTO Registered Patent Attorney. He graduated from ASU College of Law, where he was Editor of Jurimetrics, Journal of Law, Science and Technology. He earned a BSME from Purdue, where his coursework emphasized robotics, computer aided design and manufacturing.
