Elizabeth B. Teuwen and Debra D. Roby Elected Members (Partners) of Jennings Strouss in Washington, D.C. Office
Elizabeth B. Teuwen is a Member (Partner) in the Firm's Energy and Utilities practice with experience in the electric, natural gas and hydroelectric sectors of the energy industry. She represents municipal entities and rural electric cooperatives before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and in related court proceedings. Ms. Teuwen also counsels clients on energy and natural gas contracts, power plant construction, hydroelectric licensing and compliance matters, and the development and implementation of Regional Transmission Organizations. Ms. Teuwen is a 1999 graduate of the Georgetown University Law Center.
Debra D. Roby is a Member (Partner) of the Firm's Energy and Utilities practice group in our Washington DC Office. Her practice focuses on the electric and hydroelectric sectors of the energy industry. She has experience in litigation as well as administrative proceedings before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. She counsels municipal and rural electric cooperatives on matters including transmission and generation, electric restructuring and energy markets, Regional Transmission Organizations, the implementation of the Energy Policy Act of 2005, and hydroelectric licensing and compliance matters. Ms. Roby received her J.D. from George Mason University School of Law in 2000.
