Jennings Strouss attorneys Richard Lieberman and Bradley Martorana are serving on the Planning Committee for the event and as a Mentor Team Member, respectively. The conference is being held at the Four Seasons Resort at Troon in Scottsdale Wednesday, December 9 through Friday, December 11. It begins with an evening Investor's reception on Wednesday, December 9, the Company Presentations and Investor Update Sessions on Thursday, December 10, and golf on the morning of Friday, December 11.
Since 1992, this event has featured the region's most promising ventures that have collectively raised close to $300 million in investment dollars from venture capital firms, angel investors and other private investors. The conference is very successful at bringing together promising ventures with interested accredited investors. Previous conferences have attracted well over a hundred investors, including Battery Ventures, ARCH Venture Partners, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Beyers, Khosla Ventures, Dow Chemical, EPIC, Peninsula Ventures, Access Venture Partners, and Vista Ventures.
New to the conference this year is a pre-conference University and Global Technologies Showcase on Wednesday, December 9. Presenters at the Showcase will include Arizona State University, Boston University, The Johns Hopkins University, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, University of Pennsylvania, USC, as well as companies from Ireland, UK, Brazil, Mexico, Singapore and Turkey.
