Washington, D.C.   |   Energy Associate

Jennings, Strouss & Salmon seeks an associate attorney to join its Energy Practice Group in Washington, DC. Requirements include:  2-4 years of practice before FERC, including direct participation in litigated proceedings; in-depth knowledge of federal electric regulatory law; and demonstrated experience with FERC’s pro forma open access transmission tariff, major FERC electric orders and regulations, organized wholesale electricity markets, and PURPA. Experience with the Dodd-Frank Act and CFTC regulations are a plus. Superior research and writing skills are essential.
